The Vaccine Group was pleased to see TVG CEO Dr Jeremy Salt contribute expertise to the recent STAR IDAZ International Research Consortium meetings in Ottawa, Canada, hosted by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). The meetings brought together international representatives from research funding organisations, animal health bodies and scientific experts to discuss research priorities, collaboration and innovation in animal health.
Through his role on the STAR IDAZ Scientific Committee, Jeremy brings a practical and highly relevant translational perspective to discussions on how research priorities can be turned into effective disease-control tools, shaped by his long-standing background in animal vaccine development.
For TVG, the work of STAR IDAZ is very important. As a company focused on next-generation vaccines for livestock disease, remaining closely aligned to trends in evolving priorities across animal health is key.
TVG was therefore pleased to see its CEO involved in discussions aimed at strengthening international coordination and supporting the development of practical tools for animal disease control, specifically in the area of infectious disease.
