The Vaccine Group (“TVG”) is delighted to be able to congratulate our Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), Dr Michael Jarvis, on his promotion to Professor in Virology and Immunology at The University of Plymouth, England (“UoP”). This promotion acknowledges Professor Jarvis’s commitment and contributions to the University, where he has been part of the academic staff in the School of Biomedical Sciences in the Faculty of Health since 2012.
TVG was founded by Professor Jarvis in 2017 as a spin out from his academic research laboratory. The company showcases his scientific innovation, entrepreneurial spirit and belief in the practical application of basic science around the deployment of herpesviruses as gene delivery tools. We look forward to more successful years as Professor Jarvis continues in his dual role as CSO at TVG and as a Professor at UoP.
