Work carried out by TVG and collaborators to isolate and sequence cytomegaloviruses from mastomys rats has been published in the August 2023 Journal of General Virology. The work was carried out as part of the DARPA funded programme to create a transmissible vaccine to reduce Lassa fever virus prevalence in mastomys rats.
